It has no double bonds (C=C) in the fatty acids.

The structure has the maximum number of hydrogens.

It has long straight chains

It has solid at room temperature

Contribute to cardiovascular disease as they can increase the bad cholesterol LDL.

Found in many animal products such as butter, cheese, whole milk, ice cream, cream and fatty meats.

Unsaturated

It has one double bond (C=C) in the fatty acids.

The structure has fewer hydrogens.

It has bent chains.

It is liquid at room temperature.
